LMG acquires key staff from Cablecom Solutions Ltd Cablecom Solutions Ltd, the UK based IT cabling project specialist ceased normal operations on the 1st October 2009. LMG quickly moved to employ four of their key staff to further strengthen LMG's Cabling Projects delivery teams.

LMG sees upturn in UK Intelligent Infrastructure Management (IIM) sales with key wins in 2009 LMG sees the first significant rise in sales of Intelligent Infrastructure Management (IIM) sales since 2007 with 2iSystems & Services Ltd, LMG’s specialist IIM company, already winning four substantially sized IIM projects in 2009. The projects are split between Tyco Electronics’ AmpTrac solution and Systimax’s iPatch Solution. On this resurgence, Mike Hook LMG’s CEO and longstanding IIM evangelist, comments “This renewed confidence in IIM has a lot to do with the key manufacturers recognising and supporting the role of specialist IIM providers and how they provide real value in the channel”
LMG appoints Craig Longcroft as Account Director LMG is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Longcroft as Account Director. Craig joins LMG from Redstone had a highly successful career in managing their Financial Services client’s Managed Services contracts.Craig has joined LMG to expand LMG’s presence in the Corporate Managed Services sector.
Farquhar McAllan joins to expand LMG’s Major Projects team Farquhar McAllan has joined LMG from Plc’s Converged Solutions Division where he was responsible for project managing some of the industry’s biggest and most prestigious IT cabling projects. Farquhar, a specialist in Data Center and large scale corporate office cabling joins as a Senior Project Manager and will spearhead LMG’s expansion in Major Project services.
LMG completes major Cisco VoIP migration At the beginning of Q2 2008, LMG was awarded a prestigious migration project from a major city financial institution to project manage the migration of their entire voice network of 6,000+ lines from their existing Ericsson MD110 to a Cisco Call Manager based solution. Since then, LMG has successfully managed the entire migration including hardware installation, programming and user training. Volumes reaching 300 extensions per weekend on top of the normal moves and change volumes have meant the service delivery team have consistently delivered an average of 600 moves every weekend!. As the project draws successfully to a close it lays a lasting testament to LMG’s customer oriented project management skills and commitment to delivering success every time.
